Hailing Huang HBA, MA, CCC, Clinical Counselor
Hailing is a bilingual (Mandarin and English) counselor. She is a registered therapeutic counselor with the Canadian Counseling & Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).
She holds an honors BA in Psychology and a double Master’s Degree in Psychotherapy and Pastoral Counseling from Wilfrid Laurier University. Hailing had worked at Dalton Psychological Associates and The Delton Glebe Centre affiliated with Wilfrid Laurier University, KW Counseling Services. She managed the Chinese counseling market at The Delton Glebe Centre.
During her many years of practice, Hailing has counseled more than 1300 individual cases, and her service has received positive feedback from both local Canadian clients, as well as Asian immigrants.
Hailing has been actively involved in the immigrant community in Waterloo Region. She has been a columnist for CCV Chinese community newspaper in the region since 2012.
Currently, she offers Chinese Parenting Classes at KW Counseling Service Center. In January 2016, she initiates Ai Family Club (parenting & couple’s relationship). She had been a guest speaker at FM98.5 CKWR Radio Chinese Waterloo, and a contributing writer for the CCPA (Canadian Counseling & Psychotherapy Association).
Hailing specializes in parenting in two cultures, couple relationships and topics related to immigrants and international students.
Hailing provides services in English and Mandarin Chinese.
